My name is Nicole Strand, I am the lucky Mom of Jett. I've decided to blog this surgery of his transformation in the hopes that other Moms can find answers and peace in our journey.
It is awesome to see you up and playing!! Kolby wanted me to make sure and tell you that he hopes you can feel better real quick and make it home real soon! Oh my, I have cold chills everywhere! What an amazing couple days. It amazes me to see how fast kids can recover from such a HUGE surgery. We wish him the best and hope for a speedy recovery. And, by the way, he does make that halo look pretty good!!!

i am always so happy when any childs surgery is behind them,while there are good reasons for child surgeries i have always felt like i threw my kid to the wolves,it is always harder on the mom and dad than anyone else and children are always so resilent,i know our heavenly father takes especially good care of our youth,i am always so impressed by jett always being to church early and setting reverently waiting for his family to come,he is a super great example to me,thanks jett,my sister went through this years ago with her daughter and her daughter actually gained weight while waiting to be able to eat,i will get you her phone number and she can tell you how and what she prepared,thanks jett for your good example to me. brother stanworth
